Internship Programs

We offer opportunities through two types of internships: college internships, for students pursuing an undergraduate degree, and technical internships, for technical education students.

College Internship

Raízes do Futuro (“Roots of the Future”)

If you are a college student who wants to plant your future and help develop a better world, Raízes do Futuro (“Roots of the Future”) could be your pathway. This Internship Program is open to undergraduate students pursuing a bachelor’s, associate’s or technical degree, who are motivated to make things happen. The most important thing is to have the desire to develop and innovate.

Developmental Pathway
Check out what your journey on the Internship Program will be like:
01.

Advanced Onboarding

A weeklong onboarding process for you to learn about Suzano’s business from end to end, including the planting of seedlings in our nurseries, harvesting eucalyptus, the pulp production process and post-production activities, our relationship with our customers and opportunities for innovation—all this so you can have a global view of our company.

02.

Meetings with the Sponsors

Our sponsors are company leaders who help interns understand our culture and learn about the corporate world. Class meetings take place bimonthly to support career growth and assist the development of Challenge Projects.

03.

Mentoring Program

Interns in the College Internship Program meet periodically with a more experienced mentor to boost their development. This is an opportunity to be inspired, share ideas, ask questions and discuss challenges inside and outside Suzano.

04.

Training

In addition to the online courses available on the UniverSuzano platform, we offer three training classes: Excel, Project and Routine Management, and Presentation Skills.

05.

Challenge Project

Challenge Projects are a great opportunity for interns to lead a project in the company and present the results to the Suzano team. Interns can choose the topic of their preference, as long as it is in line with company guidelines. In addition to giving participants exposure to different company teams, this initiative helps develop skills such as leadership and conflict resolution.

Challenge Projects are an established practice at Suzano and have become important tools to identify opportunities for improvement in our processes. In addition, presenters are entered into our Suzanoscar awards competition for a chance to win the Challenge Grant, a bonus of up to one month of salary in recognition of their dedication and results.

Technical Internship

Plante o Future (“Plant the Future”)

An opportunity for technical education students to join our company, learn about the paper and pulp market, and help us create a better future for the planet and people. We are the sum of thousands of world views—and you can be one of them.
